Keyboards/Vocals: Jeff Curtis
Wanda Hunt Composer, Arranger, Musical Director and Keyboardist Jeff Curtis played his first professional gig in 1966 at the age of 14. Starting out in Big Band Jazz, he developed a lifelong interest in the Blues that lasts to this day. Jeff went on the road playing in Hotel and Nightclub Show Bands the same week he graduated from high school. After 10 years on the road, he came home to study composition and arranging at the Kent State School of Music. An in-demand session player and arranger, Jeff has played on numerous recordings, concerts and specialty shows. For the last 20 years, he has been a member of many of Northeast Ohio's top R&B bands including The Business and Red House and is currently the Musical Director and Keyboardist with the Band.
Trumpet/vocals: Tim Coyne
Tim Coyne is a veteran of the R&B and Latin music scenes in northeast Ohio. College trained but musically educated in the real world, Tim continues to perform locally with WHB, his own jazz combo and Cleveland area Latin bands. He resides happily in Ravenna with his wife, their two sons, and the family pets, Satchmo and Mingus. When he's not wailing on his horn, you'll likely find Tim at day job, spending time with his family or on his motorcycle.

Trombone: Larry Dickerhoff
Larry attended Kent State as a music major, intending to become a high school band director, but after two years ("and 15 minutes of fame") as Road Manager with Cleveland based The James Gang, he left Kent in 1970 and began performing in various Akron area rock bands.
He & Wanda met while performing together in an Akron local band and he followed her into what became Wanda Hunt Band. Larry also plays swing and big band music with variuos groups around northeast Ohio.

Bass: Mike Covert
A long time bassist in a variety of popular area bands, Mike has a passion for blues, jazz and progressive rock n roll. He has been involved with a variety of musical efforts in addition to live performances, recording projects, and concert promotions. Mike also served as the front man for late blues legend Otis Trotter

Guitar/Vocals: Mike Sampsel
Mike Sampsel has played in bands in N.E. Ohio over the last 40 years playing guitar, keys, bass, and trombone. Most recently he has played with Zydeco Jones, The Calypso Gypsies and Phil 'n the Blanks. He has his masters degree in music education and currently teaches music at Roswell Kent Middle School in Akron, as well as singing tenor with the Akron Symphony Chorus. He has co-owned a recording studio, and has a long history of recording, singing and playing sessions in local studios.

Saxophones: Steve Wendelken
Steve Wendelken is a 30 year veteran of the North East Ohio music scene playing with many bands over the years including Northstar, Brimstone, Full House, Joker, the house band at the Overture Dinner Club and most recently Cleveland’s premier show band “Shout”. Steve began his music studies at Berklee College of music and continued at the University of Akron where he received his masters degree in music composition. Steve spends his days repairing musical instruments at Pellegrino Music in Canton Ohio.
